Why Mother's Day Flowers Sell Out in Toronto
Toronto has no shortage of flower delivery options, but the reality of Mother's Day is that demand spikes dramatically in the final week — particularly the Friday and Saturday before. Popular arrangements, specific colour palettes, and premium bloom varieties (peonies, garden roses, ranunculus) are sourced weeks in advance by florists based on projected demand. Once they're gone, they're gone.

Here are the dates to keep in mind this year:
Order by Friday, April 25th — to have the full collection available and your preferred delivery date guaranteed. This is our recommended window for anyone who wants to choose from every arrangement, every size, and every delivery day in the week leading up to Mother's Day.
Order by Friday, May 1st — to secure delivery on your preferred day in the May 5th–10th window. Most arrangements will still be available but popular styles begin to sell out around this time each year.
Order by Tuesday, May 5th — to guarantee Mother's Day weekend delivery (Saturday May 9th or Sunday May 10th). After this point, delivery windows begin to fill up and we cannot guarantee specific dates.
Order by Thursday, May 7th — last date to guarantee Sunday May 10th delivery. Same-day slots on Mother's Day itself are extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis only.
We strongly recommend not waiting until May 10th. While we do our best to accommodate same-day orders, we cannot guarantee availability of specific arrangements or delivery windows on the day itself.
What Sells Out First
If there are specific blooms or styles you have in mind, order sooner rather than later. Based on previous years, these are the first to go:
Garden roses and peonies. These are our most requested Mother's Day stems and the most limited in supply. If you're set on a blush or soft peach palette featuring these varieties, order by end of April.
Luxury bloom boxes in large format. Our large format arrangements are among our most popular Mother's Day gifts and consistently sell out before the weekend.
Custom colour requests. We accommodate colour preferences whenever possible, but custom requests require lead time. If you'd like your arrangement in a specific palette — all white, rich burgundy, soft lavender — note this at checkout or email us as early as possible.
Saturday May 9th delivery. The Saturday before Mother's Day fills up faster than the Sunday itself, because many people prefer to have flowers arrive the day before so Mum wakes up to them on the morning.
Delivery Areas on Mother's Day Weekend
We deliver across Toronto and the GTA including Vaughan, Mississauga, Brampton, Richmond Hill, Bolton, and surrounding areas. All of our deliveries are handled in-house — we never use third-party couriers — which means your arrangement arrives in the same condition it left our studio.
For Mother's Day weekend, delivery windows operate between 9:00am and 6:00pm. We are not able to guarantee specific delivery times within that window, but if you need morning delivery, placing your order early and leaving a note at checkout gives our team the best chance of accommodating it.

Always include the recipient's cell number at checkout. Our delivery team texts recipients before arrival, which is especially important for apartment buildings, condos, and offices where access requires notice.
If your Mum lives in a condo or apartment building, note this at checkout. We leave flowers with the concierge and send a text notification — but knowing in advance helps our drivers plan accordingly.
If you'd like a handwritten message card included (which we always do), write your message in the order notes at checkout exactly as you'd like it to appear.
